Jeremy Conn: South Bracket
Possible upsets to watch in first round- In this region the only upset i really like is Xavier over Notre Dame. ND is way too inconsistent for my liking. I also believe that South Dakota State will give Baylor fits, but in the end Baylor is way too talented to lose the game.
Sweet 16 teams in my bracket - I have Kentucky playing Wichita St and Baylor playing Duke. Kentucky is the Favorite to win it all and is definitely the cream of the crop. The Duke/Baylor game should be a fun one to watch if they meet up. Baylor is very athletic and tough to guard, but if Duke is hitting their 3's, then they could pull out this game.
Players to watch - There are 3 potential NBA lottery picks in this region. Austin Rivers of Duke,Anthony Davis of Kentucky( along with Kentucky's entire team, so talented), and Perry Jones III of Baylor. Some other interesting names that can take over games.... Tu Holloway of Xavier, Nate Wolters of South Dakota St, and Wendell McKines of New Mexico St.
My Final Four team - Kentucky over Baylor. Kentucky is loaded and deep. They have the best all around player in the South region and they have nearly 6 players that average close to double figures. If one player is having an off game another will step up.
