Jeremy Conn: NL Predictions...
National League has a ton of great pitching. I believe there are a bunch of teams that could get hot and make a run to the World Series. Ill be interested to see what moves are made at the trade deadline by some of the bad teams, unloading good players to teams in a pennant race.
NL East - The Nationals will have the best record in baseball in my opinion. I think Braves will get hot at the end of the season and make a run at the division.
NL Central - The Cardinals will win the division with a mix of good hitting and very good pitching. The Reds will get the second Wild Card. Reds are built for the regular season and have a very good lineup.
NL West - I have the Dodgers as the lone team coming out of the West. They have spent a ton of money and will be willing to do more at the trade deadline to improve their team.
Cy Young Winner - Steven Strasburg is on a mission after the way last season ended.
MVP - Bryce Harper will win the MVP in only his second year in the league. I believe he hits 35 bombs this year and knocks in over a hundred runs.
Manager of the Year - Fredi Gonzalez of the Braves is my pick to win Manager of the Year.
World Series - I have the Braves beating the Angels in 6 games to win the World Series.
