Jeremy Conn: Five Players To Watch In 2015 NFL Draft
These are 5 of my favorite players in this years draft. I didn't pick all first round prospects, just players that I think will be very good pros, regardless of position or ranking.
1. Todd Gurley RB Georgia
He might be the best player in the draft. They key for him is staying healthy. He has size and speed and I believe he is the best running back prospect since Adrian Peterson. We haven't seen a running back go in the first round in 2 years, that will change this year.
2. DeVante Parker WR Louisville
I think Parker is the best Wide Receiver in this draft class. That's right I think he is better then Cooper and White. Parker is an unbelievable athlete, John Calipari offered him a basketball scholarship if he came to Kentucky to play. He does everything well and he will make whatever team he goes to very happy.
3. Marcus Peters CB Washington
He's has some red flags with his attitude and the coaching staff he had last season. But when it comes to on filed ability to get up and disrupt receivers at the line of scrimmage, he is the best in this draft class. Arguably the best cover corner in the draft.
4. Duke Johnson RB Miami
He is undersized and the questions about durability are legitimate because of size. He is a complete back with great balance and vision. I love his quickness and ability to be a home run hitter. He is NFL ready as a receiver and as a blocker.
5. Tyler Lockett WR Kansas State
My favorite player in the draft. He is an excellent route runner, one of the best in the draft. He can help you on special teams and he is explosive and very elusive after the catch. He reminds me so much of Antonio Brown and I think whoever gets him is getting an absolute steal.
