Jeremy Conn: 14 Years Later
It's finally over. I know the playoffs are on everyone's minds but we have just ended one of the worst things associated with the Orioles. The 14 consecutive losing seasons is finally over and it feels like a huge weight has been lifted off our shoulders after getting our 81st victory.
Now we as fans all want more and the O's are facing their toughest series of the year so far. Going on a west coast trip this late in a season has to be brutal on the players and facing one of the hottest teams in baseball. The Oakland A's have been playing their tails off, and just took 3 of 4 in Anaheim. The Orioles rotation for this series is Saunders, Britton and Hammel is rumored to be pitching on Sunday. Both teams are mirror images of each other and I have been hearing all 3 games might be sellouts.
The Orioles are competing for a division lead and for the Wild Card as well. If the Orioles can't win this division, then I want to have a home playoff game for this city and these fans.
Let's go O's.
