James Jones Found Guilty Of Robbery At Gunpoint In Westminster
WESTMINSTER, MD. (WJZ) — A man in Carroll County has been found guilty of robbing someone at gunpoint last July.
James E. Jones's charges stemmed from an incident on 65 W. Main Street in Westminster on July 25, 2019.
Witnesses said Jones had placed what appeared to be a handgun to the victim's head and demanded his property.
When police searched Jones' home, they found a replica semi-automatic handgun.
He will be sentenced on May 11.
