Baltimore (WJZ) -- J. Michael, Wizards Insider for CSN, joined the Norris and Davis Show to talk about Kevin Durant's move to the Golden State Warriors.
Michael discussed one of the main reasons why Durant left the Thunder in the first place. When Norris and Davis asked why Durant would want to leave Oklahoma City, here was Michael's response: "Have you ever been to Oklahoma City? If you'd go, you'd know." In other words, there isn't much to do in OKC to entice players to stay.
J. Michael also talked about why Durant wouldn't give the Wizards a chance to court him: "He wouldn't give them a meeting because playing at home doesn't resonate with Kevin Durant. He doesn't want to be at home. He likes to keep his personal and professional life separate. I also think that he clearly wanted to go to a team that was ready-made to win a championship."
