Inmate Dies After Assault At Maryland Correctional Training Center
HAGERSTOWN, Md. (WJZ) -- A Maryland Correctional Training Center inmate who was hospitalized after being assaulted Wednesday has died.
Maryland State Police said the inmate was found unresponsive on the floor during a work detail on a housing tier at the Hagerstown facility.
The inmate, Ronnie Harris, 56, was taken to a hospital where he died around 4 p.m. Thursday.
Harris' death remains under investigation.
