Infant Hurt In Howard County School Bus Crash
COLUMBIA, Md. (WJZ) -- A school bus crashes into another vehicle in Howard County--sending a little girl to the hospital.
It happened at the intersection of Little Patuxent Parkway and Hickory Ridge Road in Columbia.
That's where officers say Ashley Nicole Smith, 23, cut in front of a school bus carrying two young students.
The bus hit Smith's car. Her 1-year-old daughter was in the back seat at the time.
No one on the bus was hurt.
Smith's infant daughter, however, did suffer injuries in the crash. She was taken to Johns Hopkins Children's Hospital.
So far, no charges have been filed.
