Hudson River Jetliner Heads Through Southern W.Va.
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) -- The US Airways jetliner that made a safe emergency landing in the Hudson River in 2009 is in southern West Virginia.
A truck pulling the 120-foot fuselage passed through Charleston at midday Wednesday.
The plane is traveling from New Jersey to the Carolinas Aviation Museum in Charlotte, N.C. The wings were shipped separately.
The plane is expected to stop in Bluefield on Wednesday night.
