Hoyer To Testify On Moving FBI To Prince George's
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Maryland Rep. Steny Hoyer was scheduled to testify in support of bringing the FBI's headquarters to Prince George's County, but that hearing has been postponed due to the winter storm.
Hoyer, a Democrat, was going to testify before the House Transportation and Infrastructure Subcommittee on Economic Development, Public Buildings and Emergency Management on Wednesday in Washington.
Prince George's County officials have touted an area next to the Greenbelt Metro station as a potential site.
The FBI is looking for an alternative site for its headquarters, which is now on Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington.
