Home Intruder Shot In Halethorpe Sunday, Police Say
HALETHORPE, Md. (WJZ) -- A Halethorpe resident shot a person trying to break into their home Sunday, Baltimore County Police said.
Officers responded at 10 p.m. to the 1000 block of Howland Square for the reported shooting.
Investigators determined the resident shot someone they knew who was trying to forcefully enter their home. The person was shot once in the upper body, and their injury appears to be non-life-threatening, police said.
The incident remains under investigation.
