Hogan Swears In Michele Hotten To Court Of Appeals

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Judge Michele Hotten is now on Maryland's highest court.

Gov. Larry Hogan swore in Hotten to the Maryland Court of Appeals on Tuesday during a ceremony in the Maryland House of Delegates in Annapolis.

She is filling a vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Glenn Harrell.

Hotten has been a Maryland judge for 21 years. She most recently served on the Maryland Court of Special Appeals, the state's intermediate appellate court.

She also served on the Circuit Court for Prince George's County and the District Court for Prince George's.
