RICHMOND, Va. (AP) -- High school robotics teams will be participating in a two-day competition in Richmond.
Sixty teams from Virginia, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Maryland and Canada will compete Friday and Saturday at Virginia Commonwealth University's Stuart Siegel Center.
The event is free and open to the public. Robots built and designed by students will take part in various maneuvers while scoring points. The winners will move on to a national competition in St. Louis later in April.
