Heroin Dealer Gets 30 Years After 3 Customers Die
ALEXANDRIA, Va. (AP) -- A D.C. drug dealer has been sentenced to 30 years in prison after three of his customers in Fairfax County died.
Eugene Asomani Williams pleaded guilty in January to conspiracy to distribute one kilogram or more of cocaine and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.
Williams acknowledged as part of a plea deal that 33-year-old Joshua Pearson and 22-year-old Kara Schachinger, both of Fairfax County, and 23-year-old Timothy Huffman, an active duty soldier at Fort Belvoir, died as a result of heroin he distributed.
Williams was sentenced Friday in federal court in Alexandria, Va. After hearing his sentence the 35-year-old told the judge he "would rather just die."
Williams' attorney had asked for a 15-year sentence.
