Heat Sets Records At BWI, Dulles
WASHINGTON (AP) -- The heat is breaking records across the Baltimore-Washington region.
The National Weather Service says the temperature hit 105 at Dulles International Airport on Friday, breaking the all-time record of 104 set in 1998.
At Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport, the temperature hit 106. That broke the record for the date of 101 degrees, set in 1957.
The Weather Service says the temperature at Baltimore's Inner Harbor was 108, but it is not an official record-keeping site.
