Heat Affects Electrical Wires On MARC, Amtrak
WASHINGTON (AP) -- The Maryland Transit Administration says the heat has caused electrical lines to sag and has forced single-track operations on the Penn Line between Washington and New Carrollton.
Delays of five to 15 minutes are possible on MARC and Amtrak.
The MTA also says all MARC trains are experiencing significant delays Friday afternoon between Washington and Baltimore. Disabled trains are among the problems.
