Police Say Tank Leaking Black Substance In White Marsh Was Vandalized
WHITE MARSH, Md. (WJZ)-- Baltimore County police say the tank leak in White Marsh is an act of vandalism.
The stationary 10,000 gallon tank on Ebenezer Road and Railroad Avenue is leaking a black, sticky substance.
Capt. Mike Perry has more.
Fire officials originally responded with a Hazmat crew at 11 a.m. Wednesday but have since left. The Maryland Department of the Environment is now on the scene trying to determine that the substance is, and once they do, the substance will be removed.
The crews working there are not wearing Hazmat suits as they do not believe the substance could cause injury to anyone.
