Deputies Arrest 2 In Edgewood Breaking & Entering Case; 1 Suspect On The Run
EDGEWOOD, Md. (WJZ)-- The Harford County Sheriff's Office has arrested two suspects in connection with an incident of breaking and entering into an Edgewood home. A third suspect remains on the run.
Deputies responded to a call in the 1800-block of John Drive about 10 p.m. Wednesday. On arriving at the scene, they established a perimeter but soon forced their way into the house after hearing a scream from inside the house.
Police found three suspects in the house. William Joseph Fleming, 24, was one of the two suspects arrested on a warrant and is being held at the Harford County Detention Center on $50,000 bond.
The third suspect jumped through a plate-glass window to escape arrest and may be injured as a result. Shards of glass cut Deputy Tyler Vass on his arm while he was trying to arrest this suspect. He was treated at a hospital and has been released.
Charges against the suspects have not yet been filed and the investigation into this case is ongoing.
Anyone with information about the suspects or the crime is being asked to call the Harford County Sheriff's Office. Tips leading to a conviction may be eligible for a $2,000 reward.
