Md. Woman Charged With Stabbing Sister In Dispute Over Car
HANOVER, Md. (WJZ)— Anne Arundel County Police have arrested a Hanover woman, who they say stabbed her younger sister during a dispute over a car.
It happened around 11 p.m. Monday in the 7100-block of Somerton Court in Hanover.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with the 22-year-old female victim, who reported that she was arguing with her sister over the shared use of a vehicle.
The argument escalated and her sister, 23-year-old Veronica Christina Victoriano, armed herself with a knife and stabbed the victim.
Police say Victoriano fled the residence and was located on Arundel Mills Boulevard by responding officers and subsequently arrested.
The victim suffered a non-life threatening stab wound to her lower extremity and was transported by ambulance to Baltimore Washington Medical Center.
Victoriano is charged with first and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment.
