Hagerstown Shooting Victim Dies
HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- Police in Hagerstown say charges against a shooting suspect may be amended now that the victim has died.
They say Christopher Follett, 29, of New York died Thursday, two days after he was shot in the head in the 300-block of Jonathan Street.
Police have issued a warrant charging Juan Barnes, 28, with attempted second-degree murder. Lt. Tom Langston says those charges may be amended after an autopsy determines the cause of Follett's death.
Police say Barnes also is wanted for parole violations stemming from a 2005 robbery conviction in Prince George's County.
They say Follett was shot during an argument early Tuesday morning.
