Hagerstown Robber Remains At Large
HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- Police in Hagerstown say an armed robber remains at large after a search of a home did not turn up a suspect.
The Washington County Sheriff's Office says the Bulldog Federal Credit Union on York Road was robbed by a man with a handgun at about 3 p.m. Monday.
The Herald-Mail reports that police with assault rifles and a bullhorn surrounded two nearby buildings after tracking the suspect to that location. Officers entered the residence on Virginia Avenue about 4:30 p.m., but did not find the suspect.
