Hagerstown Man Indicted In Death Of Motorcyclist In Crash
HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- A Washington County grand jury has indicted a man on nearly two dozen charges, including homicide by a motor vehicle and drunken driving, in the death of a Pennsylvania motorcyclist.
Robert Hilliard Jr., 26, of Hagerstown was indicted this week. He is being held on $750,000 bond.
The Herald-Mail of Hagerstown reports that Hilliard is accused of rear-ending a car and pushing it into a motorcycle operated by Richard Burchfield II of Oil City, Pa. on Oct. 6. Burchfield, 45, died a day after the crash in Hagerstown.
