Hagerstown Man Charged With DUI In Fatal Md. Crash
HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- A Hagerstown man faces charges of drunken driving and leaving the scene of a three-car crash that killed a Delaware woman.
Washington County authorities filed 11 counts Wednesday against Cory Kuczynski, 25.
Defense attorney D. Benson Thompson says Kuczynski maintains his innocence and views the incident as a tragedy.
Danielle Paikin, 21, of Newark, Del., died in the accident on Route 65. Police say she was a passenger in a car that first collided head-on with another vehicle and then was hit by Kuczynski's car.
Three others were hurt in the incident.
