Hagerstown Convention Center To Be Sold At Auction
HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- The Hagerstown Hotel and Convention Center will be sold at a foreclosure auction.
The auction is set for Tuesday morning at the entrance to the Washington County Courthouse.
According to the auction notice, the owners have defaulted on their 2006 financing agreements with a bank.
The hotel's general manager says a California investment firm purchased the note on the property in December and is proceeding with a foreclosure.
The property includes a 108-room hotel, restaurant and meeting facilities.
