Gunman Robs Md. Verizon Store
SALISBURY, Md. (AP) -- Salisbury police say a gunman has robbed a Verizon Wireless store.
It happened Friday about 7:20 p.m. at the store on North Salisbury Boulevard. Police say a store employee was about to close the outlet when a man entered the store, displayed a handgun and ordered the employee to give him money from the register.
The gunman pushed the employee away from the register and grabbed the money himself. He fled on foot.
The employee was not hurt.
