Great Cookie Caper: 24 Pounds Of Cookies Stolen From Towson Town Center
TOWSON, Md. (AP) -- Baltimore County Police say 24 pounds of cookies have been stolen from a shop in the Towson Town Center mall.
Officers say video surveillance showed two men hopping the counter of Great Cookie and making off with the pastries about 1:55 a.m. Tuesday.
The Baltimore Sun reports that authorities say the same shop was hit by burglars on Aug. 10. A man entered the mall about 11 p.m., turned off the circuit breaker at Great Cookie and took money from cash drawers.
