Gov. O'Malley To Speak At Event In New Hampshire
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley is scheduled to speak in New Hampshire at a November dinner for the state's Democratic Party.
Lis Smith, a spokeswoman for O'Malley's political action committee, said Wednesday the governor will be speaking at the party's annual Jefferson Jackson dinner in Manchester.
O'Malley, who is weighing a presidential bid in 2016, also was in New Hampshire in October of last year campaigning for Gov. Maggie Hassan and President Barack Obama when he was chairman of the Democratic Governors Association. O'Malley is now the DGA's finance chairman.
O'Malley's November trip to the first-in-the-nation primary state will come after he makes campaign stops for Democratic candidates next month. O'Malley will be making stops in Florida, Ohio and Texas in October.
