Glenn Younes: Terps Fall To FSU
There's a youth movement going on in College Park as the Maryland Terrapins have about as much talent as they've had maybe since their National Championship run, but like height you can teach talent.
You also can't teach experience and the Maryland Terrapins showed their lack of experience last night at home in College Park at Comcast Center when they blew a double digit lead and lost to ACC foe Florida State 65-62.
Mark Turgeon and his coaching staff are going to have to figure out a way to get Maryland some experience while adding to a powder puff schedule that saw the Terps win 13 straight games leading into ACC play. If UMD wants to get into the heights of the top 25 a bit more tune ups will be needed because Stony Brook and Monmouth may not be the best way to go about toughening up a young talented team 4 difficult ACC schedule.
This team does have depth, talent, inside and outside play but learning how to win is an entirely different animal, with the loss at home in conference MD will have to steal a game or two on the road to make up the difference. I'm still high on the Terps as they grow through the season and hiccups will happen, just wish it didn't last night.
