Glenn Younes: Flight Of The Ravens
The high flying one sided relationship between Baltimore and the Browns is changing as we know it.
May sound a bit extreme and it is, but it's also true. In the time John Harbaugh, Joe Flacco and Ray Rice have been part of the purple and black they've never known what it's like to not beat the Browns.
It's symbolic really when you think of it and in Cleveland, at that. The franchise that came from there, goes back, loses post Super Bowl and the Sunday final may have triggered the end of another streak... The Playoff streak. Five years and maybe not counting.
Listen, I'm not going to drag on and on here but I'll just say this. Super Bowl! It doesn't make up for RB issues or roster growth/depth/turnover. It doesn't explain Flacco being a touch off Sunday in Cleveland, having almost zero TE play or any number of the other issues... but it is to say that it's been a pretty good run ending in February at the Superdome.
Is the season over? Of course not. They have half their games left. A season with postseason aspirations may be grounded and those thoughts and dreams are nearly gone. Winning is the goal but around here it's become expectation.
