Glen Burnie Man Driving 2 Young Sons Arrested For Drugs & Alcohol
GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WJZ) -- A Glen Burnie man faces charges after putting himself and his children in danger.
Authorities say Joshua Osterholt, 31, was driving with his 4-year-old and 10-month-old children in the car when he almost collided with a police cruiser.
He was stopped along Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard on suspicion of DUI.
Inside the vehicle, officers found an open container of alcohol and nearly 90 grams of marijuana.
Osterholt was arrested. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, two counts of driving while impaired by alcohol transporting a minor, plus various other traffic related charges.
He was also criminally charged with possession and possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance.
His children were turned over to their grandmother.
The Department of Social Services is now investigating.
