Germantown Man Charged In 2 Bank Robberies
ROCKVILLE, Md. (AP) -- Montgomery County Police have charged a man with committing bank robberies in Germantown and Gaithersburg.
Christopher Lee Guzman, 29, was arrested Tuesday and charged with two counts of armed robbery and two counts of theft.
He is being held on $300,000 bond.
Officers say Guzman robbed TD Bank in Germantown on Oct. 15 and Capital One Bank in Gaithersburg on Oct. 25.
Police say an anonymous tip through Crime Solvers provided an address which led to Guzman.
