Georgetown University Student Dies On Spring Break Trip To Dominican Republic
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Georgetown University officials say a student has died while on spring break in the Dominican Republic.
A local station reports Mark Adamsson died during the trip. Georgetown Vice President of Student Affairs Todd Olson says in an email that Adamsson was traveling with other Georgetown students at the time.
Students have been advised that counseling staff and chaplains are available on campus.
Olson says Georgetown officials are in contact with Adamsson's family.
