Gas Prices In Mid-Atlantic Region Down 5 Cents
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Gas prices in the Mid-Atlantic region are down five cents from a week ago.
In its weekly report released Sunday, AAA says the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gas is $3.42, down from $3.47 a week ago. The price is 38 cents lower than a year ago, when the price was $3.80.
The price of gas in the region is six cents below the national average. The national average for a gallon of unleaded was $3.48, down four cents from a week ago.
The average price in the District of Columbia was $3.61, down seven cents from a week ago. In Maryland, the average was $3.43, down five cents from a week ago. In Delaware the average was $3.44, also down five cents.
