Two dogs killed in Bel Air fire after van crashes into home, police search for driver
BALTIMORE - Two dogs were killed after a van crashed into a home, igniting a fire, which also damaged the structure and forced neighbors to evacuate Wednesday evening in Bel Air, according to Harford County fire officials.
The fire, believed to have been fed by a natural gas line, was in the 1700 block of Woodhome Drive, officials said.
WJZ got a video of what appears to be a white work van that crashed into the home.
The driver of the van was identified and took off after crashing into the house, the Harford County Sheriff's Office said. Police did not name the suspect.
The fire is under control, fire officials said.
Deputies are searching for the driver of the van with charges pending.
