Garrett College Honors Fallen US War Fighters
MCHENRY, Md. (AP) -- Student veterans at Garrett College in McHenry are marking Veterans Day by remembering the nation's fallen war fighters.
The event Tuesday is part of the National Remembrance Day Roll Call at college campuses across the country.
The roll call in McHenry includes a reading of the names of fallen U.S. service members from Maryland and border states who died in the Korean War.
The event also features a minute of silence at 2 p.m., and a 21-gun salute at 4:30 p.m.
