BELTSVILLE, Md. (AP) --Thousands of mourners are expected to gather at a funeral service for an officer killed in a highway chase and traffic delays could be likely.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Woodstream Church on Lottsford Road in Mitchellville.
A burial will follow at 1 p.m. at Lakemont Memorial Gardens on W. Central Avenue in Davidsonville.
The funeral procession will begin with a motorcade from the funeral home in Beltsville to a nearby police station, and will then continue to the church.
After the funeral, the motorcade will head to the cemetery.
