Funeral Arrangements Announced For Baltimore Co. Soldier Killed In Afghanistan
BALTIMORE (WJZ)— A high-ranking Baltimore soldier was killed inside a secure government building in Afghanistan. Now his family is publicly announcing his funeral arrangements.
The family of Maj. Robert Marchanti will honor his life at Trinity Assembly of God Church in Lutherville on Sunday, March 18, 4-9 p.m. and on Monday, March 19, 11 a.m.-noon at which time a service will begin.
Family and friends are asked to arrive by 10:30 a.m. on March 19 to be present for the Honor Guard presentation. Interment services with full military honors will be held at Arlington National Cemetery on Tuesday, March 20 at 9 a.m.
