Frederick Police Investigating Shooting, Robbery
FREDERICK, Md. (AP) -- Police in Frederick say they're investigating a shooting that's left a man in serious condition.
Police say it happened Thursday evening at the Country Hill Apartments in the 1000 block of Heather Ridge Drive.
The man was shot in the torso, and witnesses reported seeing a male suspect in a dark-hooded sweatshirt and khaki pants running from the area.
The victim, whose name was not released, was taken to a hospital in serious condition.
Separately, police say they're also investigating the armed robbery of a 7-11 convenience store.
