Frederick Police Investigate Fatal Stabbing
FREDERICK, Md. (AP) -- Police in Frederick are investigating an apparent stabbing that left one man dead in a wooded area.
Police say Merlin Edjardo Alvarez Garcia, 23, of Frederick was found dead from apparently stabbing wounds on Saturday night. His body was found on a dirt path in a wooded area near the 1100-block of Greenwall Place in Frederick. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward with information. Witnesses are asked to call Frederick police.
