Former Ravens Player Jermaine Lewis Arrested In Baltimore County
BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. (WJZ)-- Baltimore County Police have arrested former Ravens player Jermaine Lewis for driving on a suspended and revoked license and also for driving with his 4-year-old son in the front seat of his car without a seat belt.
The incident happened Thursday at 9:52 a.m. when an officer on routine patrol noticed a white Dodge Charger with a child in the front seat who was not properly secured. The driver abruptly pulled into a private driveway on the 14000-block of Hanover Pike. The officer then noticed the vehicle driving again on Hanover Pike and stopped the vehicle. Lewis was found driving on a suspended and revoked license. The officer also noticed Lewis' son in the front seat with no seat belt on. Maryland law requires children under eight years of age to be seated in a child safety seat in a vehicle.
Lewis is being held on a $50,000 bail.
