Mike Bordick is a former Orioles player who is now an analyst for game broadcasts on MASN.
Mike joined Ken and Steve to talk about the Orioles first half and tonight's All-Star game in San Diego.
Mike started out by talking about the performance by Giancarlo Stanton in last night's Home Run Derby saying "pretty impressive, these guys are amazing, you know batting practice the timing and rhythm they get it's quite a show they can put on." As for guys who he loved to watch take batting practice while he was playing Bordick said "McGiwre, Canseco, Piazza these are the guys that when you're in the clubhouse you go out on the bench and watch those guys take batting pracitce...it's really impressive to see some of these guys go."
When asked about the Orioles first half and what he has seen so far Mike said "I just think the American League East every team had their strengths and their weaknesses...fortunately the Orioles lineup and their bullpen has been able to overcome their starting pitching deficiencies, thank goodness for Chris Tillman."
