Former Hospital Security Guard Gets 50 Years For Attempted Rape
TOWSON, Md. (AP) -- A former hospital security guard has been sentenced to 50 years in prison after he was convicted of attempted rape during a burglary.
Forty-four-year-old Ricky Bostic of Towson was sentenced Wednesday in Baltimore County Circuit Court.
Prosecutors say Bostic broke into a home in Towson in May 2012 and sexually assaulted two women. Police recovered fingerprints, DNA and a camera with pictures of one of the victims before she was awakened.
Authorities say at the time of the crime, Bostic was a security guard at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Towson. Prosecutors say he previously was a police officer in Petaluma, Calif., and a sheriff's deputy in Sonoma County in California.
