Former Fort Detrick Police Officer Sentenced For Child Porn
BALTIMORE (AP) -- A former civilian police officer at Fort Detrick has been sentenced to four years in prison for possessing child pornography.
James Andrew Wagner, 43, of Hagerstown was also ordered to register as a sex offender at sentencing Friday in federal court in Baltimore.
According to his place agreement, an undercover FBI agent in Kansas downloaded child pornography images from Wagner using a file-sharing program. Several months later, an FBI agent in Baltimore also downloaded child pornography from Wagner.
After a raid on Wagner's home, agents found more than 600 files of child pornography on his computer and other devices.
