Former Aberdeen Middle School faculty members arrested for allegedly not reporting rape
BALTIMORE -- Two former Aberdeen Middle School faculty members are facing charges for allegedly failing to report the rape of a student last year.
Police say they learned about the assault when they were alerted by a hospital.
An investigation found that the victim confided in former school principal Regina Jones and former paraeducator Tanya Johnson but neither reported the assault to law enforcement or child protective services, according to police.
A 17-year-old has been charged with the rape.
Jones and Johnson have pending court dates.
