Flooding Hampers Morning Commute
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Flooded roads are turning the morning commute into a nightmare for drivers in the Baltimore-Washington area.
Authorities reported closures Friday morning of some heavily traveled roadways including Route 355 at Big Woods Road and Doctor Perry Road in Montgomery County.
The agency says portions of state Routes 301 and 4 in Upper Marlboro are closed, and flooding has closed some lanes of Route 450 at Housely Road in the Annapolis area.
There is flooding on state Route 103 between Roosevelt Boulevard and U.S. 1 in the Baltimore area.
Northeast of Baltimore, flooding has closed sections of Route 7 between Cavalry Road and Riverside Parkway, and Route 222 at Conowingo Road.
