Firefighter Hurt Battling House Fire In Pasadena
PASADENA, Md. (AP) -- An Anne Arundel County firefighter was injured battling a house fire in Pasadena, but a juvenile who was home at the time escaped the fire unharmed.
Fire department spokesman Lt. Jack Ball tells The Capital that firefighters were called to the house on Hilltop Drive about 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
A juvenile who was home alone at the time escaped the blaze. More than 40 firefighters responded, and it took nearly two hours to get the fire under control.
The injured firefighter was taken to Baltimore Washington Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Ball says the fire caused about $150,000 in damage to the house.
