Fire Rages At Frederick County Lumber Warehouse
LIBERTYTOWN, Md. (AP) -- Firefighters in Frederick County are battling a fire in Libertytown at a large structure used to store lumber.
Emergency Services spokesman Michael Dmuchowski says about 30 firefighters were called to the rural site with a tanker truck to haul water. The fire was reported shortly after 7 a.m. Wednesday.
One person was injured in the fire and taken to a hospital. Dmuchowski says the injury is considered minor.
Dmuchowski says the building is a total loss. Investigators are on the scene to determine the cause.
