Fire Breaks Out At Md. Liquor Store, No Injuries
JESSUP, Md. (AP) -- A Howard County fire department spokesman says firefighters have extinguished a blaze at a Jessup liquor store and no injuries have been reported.
Jackie Cutler says firefighters were called to Mel's Liquors in the 7900 block of Waterloo Road about 4:30 a.m. Monday and arrived to find heavy flames and smoke. Cutler says the fire was extinguished completely within an hour.
She says Waterloo Road was closed from Dorsey Run Road to Oceano Avenue for about two hours.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
