FBI Looking To Identify Serial Bank Robbery Suspects
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Federal investigators are asking for help to identify two suspects wanted in connection with a series of recent bank robberies in Baltimore, authorities said Monday.
The suspects, dubbed the "25th Street Bandits," work in unison, according to the FBI Baltimore Violent Crimes Task Force. Investigators said one suspect will approach a bank teller and hand them a note, announcing an armed robbery and demanding cash, while the second suspect will stand outside and act as a lookout.
Investigators suspect the two are responsible for three armed robberies at the M&T Bank branch, located at the corner of 25th Street and Kirk Avenue on June 28, July 6 and July 15.
They're also believed to be behind the robbery of a PNC Bank, located in the unit block of 25th Street, on July 5.
No one was hurt in any of the robberies.
The suspects are described as 5-foot-10 with medium buildings, witnesses told investigators.
