FBI Leading Investigation Into Tuesday's Royal Farms Shooting & Robbery
BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- The FBI has now taken the lead into the investigation of a shooting and robbery at a Royal Farms store in Northeast Baltimore.
The FBI Violent Crimes Task Force, consisting of FBI agents and detectives from the Baltimore City and Baltimore County police departments, is looking for two suspects involved in the crime at the convenience store on 5232 Harford Road.
Police say one suspect brandished a silver revolver at the cashier and stole money and cigarettes. He then demanded a customer's wallet and shot him while he was getting the wallet out. The suspect is seen in pictures from the store's surveillance cameras wearing a dark jacket with orange or maroon markings with the hood on. Police say the other suspect, who was wearing a baseball cap and a black jacket with markings, acted as a lookout.
